Update 3.0 comes out on 5 November, the same day as Dawn of the Delta. Ubisoft has shared the main changes ahead of the full patch notes, which will appear under Patch notes once they are out.
Stamps
A feature from Anno 1800 returns, reworked. The copy tool now has a stamp icon, and what you select with it can be saved as a stamp.
- Stamps sit in the construction menu, where you can rename them, change their icons and sort them into folders.
- They are ordinary files that aren't tied to an account, so you can share layouts with other players and try theirs.
Statistics
The statistics menu gains two tabs:
- Storage: what is in stock on one island or several together, how that stock has changed over time, and each island's active and passive trade history.
- Items: every specialist you own, searchable, with the island or ship holding them and how they can be obtained: from a trader, a quest or a contract. It also finds the ones you don't have yet.
Until then, Specialists & items here shows where each one comes from.

Hall of Fame
A new Aegyptus category brings three tiers of unlocks, and you get them whether or not you buy Dawn of the Delta: more market stalls, Aegyptian statues and plants, player logos and portraits. As before, you pay with Fame Points from achievements and the weekly Ubisoft Connect challenges. An option keeps those challenges out of the quest book.
Higher consumption
Goods consumption goes up across the board. Three things soften that:
- Existing saves aren't affected, though you can change their consumption setting whenever you like.
- New games start with more money to cover the harder early game.
- The settings gain a new top level, "very high", at about 75% more goods than normal.
Smaller changes
- Photo mode has fewer camera limits, so you can get closer to buildings and even partly inside them.
- A quest you accepted by accident can be hidden from the quest log, with the hide icon in the quest book.
- Escape in the trade route editor goes back to the trade route screen instead of closing the menu.
- Desyncs caused by the note function in co-op and PvP are fixed.
