Patch 2.1

Patch 2.1 came out on 17 September 2026 together with the Echoes of Kassandra cosmetic pack. It reins in three heroic specialists that players had turned into exploits, and fixes a handful of Hippodrome and quest problems.

Other changes

• Hippodrome events say which optional goods can be removed.
• A monument's tier infotip shows its second effect.
• Notes in the archive show how long they still last.
• An ornament with a cosmetic skin shows that skin in its object menu.
• Trade buffs only count trades between players and the AI.

Fixes

• Parade units no longer appear on the Hippodrome during a race.
• The Hippodrome plans discovery unlocks again when The Hippodrome is turned on after the Prophecies of Ash eruption.
• The Lusitanian governor decision keeps working after the first race.
• The Sandarac Nursery counts as a plantation.
• The diplomacy penalty for helping Caecilia expires again.
• The World Seed field can be edited, and the "Specialists" and "Underlings" quests complete as they should.
